Rolle IT, LLC is currently seeking a highly motivated and value driven Test Engineer with 508 and automation experience to join our team. In this role you will be working with directly with several teams on the Agile Release Train to provide continuous delivery and continuous improvement. A Test Engineer must have experience in the coordination and execution of test events in accordance with approved test plans, procedures and scripts. Must have knowledge and skills to ensure that test environments are set up accurately. Must be able to create test reports. The test engineer must be able to test IT hardware, software, systems and networks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical fields
  • 5 Years’ experience Substitution: 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
  • U.S. Citizen
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Expertise with agile product management tools (e.g., Jira, CA Rally)

Responsibilities Include but not limited to:

  • Testing Section 508 compliance Section 508, a federal law mandating that our application is accessible to people with disabilities
  • Experience with tools like JAWS, NVDA, WAVE, ANDI and Axe
  • Analyzes technical issues
  • Participates as a member of development support team
  • Contributes to design activities
  • Participates in code reviews and may lead code reviews
  • Experience in a DevSecOps and scrum environment
  • Experience testing in VA VistA
  • Experience creating test plans, test cases, test scripts

Basic Qualifications:

  • B.S. degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related scientific /technical discipline
  • Experience with service orientation concepts and enabling technologies
  • Experience with Software Development and Implementation
  • 2 years of experience in debugging and correcting errors in test programs.
  • 2 years of experience using Agile methodologies
  • Ability to obtain VA Medium-Background Investigation clearance

 

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain an active Public Trust security clearance with the Department of Veterans Affairs.

  • Experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs
  • Healthcare background
  • Government background
